1 devils food cake mix
2 eggs
¾ c. shortening
Mix well. (You might have to use your hands) Roll into balls about the size of a quarter. Bake at 375 for 4 minutes and then move to the top rack and bake for 4 more minutes. Do not over bake.
Cream cheese frosting (makes double the cookie recipe)
1 square margarine softened
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. powder sugar
8 oz. cream cheese softened
Mix till creamy. Place frosting between two cookies.
Keep cookies in the refrigerator.
